The Service Group offers a service falling within the ambit of the publishing industry which markets and sells legal support products for use exclusively within the Republic of South Africa.
The information and documents on this website are provided to you solely for your personal and legitimate use in accordance with the terms and conditions set out herein. Delivery and refunds policy
Subject to receipt of payment, requests will be processed on the same day as payment is received (usually within five minutes of confirmation of payment) and the product purchased by you will be delivered by means of a secure internet download to your computer on the same day and at your request. Delivery is confirmed by way of the unique document identification number generated by our system and the issue of a tax invoice recording the details of your purchase. The purchase price of each product is all-inclusive and no additional charges are levied for delivery.
In the unlikely event of non-delivery of the document purchased, you will be refunded any amount paid by you within 30 days of the date of payment. If the contract delivered to you contains any errors caused by our website, we will fix the problem immediately or refund you your money in full within 30 days of the date of purchase. Requests for refunds should be made by using our “Contact Us” page and should include details of your concern. Such requests should be made within 3 days of purchase.
Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the Service Group’s bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for the Service Group via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by the Service Group separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
General terms
The use of this website, these terms and conditions and the agreement arising therefrom (“this agreement”) shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with South African law. Regardless of where you access this website from, you agree to comply with all applicable laws of the Republic of South Africa (including those regarding the export of data) and with all other laws, rules and regulations that may be applicable to the use of this website.
You hereby consent and submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa, Western Cape Division, in respect of all legal proceedings instituted by either party against the other relating in any manner to your use of this website. If in the course of any such legal proceedings a costs order is granted in favour of the Service Group, you hereby agree that such legal costs shall be payable by you on an attorney and own client scale.
This agreement constitutes the whole agreement between the parties in relation to the subject matter hereof and no party shall be bound by any representations, warranties, undertakings or the like not recorded herein.
The Service Group may, in its sole discretion, add to, change or novate this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
No failure to enforce, or delayed or partial enforcement of, a right by the Service Group shall prejudice or derogate from their rights under this agreement, nor shall it constitute a waiver or novation of their rights under this agreement and it shall not estop or otherwise prevent any member of the Service Group from enforcing at any time all its rights arising out of this agreement.
Should any party allege that any of the provisions of this agreement are illegal and/or contrary to public policy, the onus of proving the allegation shall rest on such party.
The Service Group shall be entitled without notice to you to cede or encumber any of its rights and to delegate any of its obligations under this agreement to any person(s) and you hereby consent to such cession and delegation
The use of this website and its products or services shall at all times be subject to the terms and conditions set out above.
